Instead of letting that setback define me, I channeled it into something empowering. I started my first blog, TheCoffeeMom, as a creative outlet. Little did I know it would become my lifeline! Maternity leave turned into a full-time blogging hustle. I learned about marketing, built an audience, and discovered I could create my own income. When traditional job applications led nowhere (thanks to that pesky “overqualified” excuse), my entrepreneurial path became crystal clear.

My blogging success even translated into a fulfilling marketing career and later a leadership role directing influencer strategy for a startup. It was thrilling to use my experience as a creator to help others! Yet, throughout all of this, I never let my side projects fade. They were my safety net, a constant source of growth and potential.
